The classic solution to this puzzle is to cross
out every other letter, starting with N. This eliminates NINE LETTERS,
leaving A SINGLE WORD as shown on the left.
The other solution, found by Don Dwyer, Jr., is to cross out the nine
letters AEILNRSTW every time they appear, to leave the word GOD. |
